ShoSum is an athletic apparel company based in metro Detroit, MI with a mission to bring high-quality, durable fitness apparel to athletes, weekend warriors, and all who have the courage to compete through our webstore and strategic partnerships. We exist to empower athletes and inspire anyone living an active lifestyle to Respect yourself, Respect the game, and Respect all others who have the courage to compete…in the game or in life.
From our office staff to the influencers we choose to work with, the mission of RESPECT is at the heart of everything we do.
ABOUT US
The ShoSum brand was forged on worn out asphalt courts with chain linked basketball nets throughout the Long Island area, hopping on a train and riding to various towns to compete with the best playground ballers in the area.
The only encouragement we needed was a challenge from each other: “you gonna sho sum today? Or leave it on the train?” Sure there were times when the game stayed on the train, or our skills were outmatched. And other times when well placed elbows landed one or the other in the ER to stitch up gashes. But the desire and courage to compete never stayed on the train. Old glories may fade, but the courage to compete never does.
