Meet Lola
Lola was born in Dallas, TX and raised with the SHOSUM attitude. Her parents were both former nationally recognized players of the beautiful game and introduced it to Lola at the age of 3 years old. She started working with some of the top technical trainers in the area to build an early foundation and love for the game. At the age of 6 years old she started competing in state, regional, and eventually national 3 v 3 soccer tournaments. After qualifying for the national playoffs hosted at ESPN in Walt Disney Word, Lola and team were eventually crowned National Champions. Shortly after she began her academy soccer career by joining one of the nation’s top academies, Dallas Solar. From her achievements in the club Lola was recognized as an elite player and was invited to the US National Soccer ID Center at the age of 14 and has been participating ever since. Lola also entered the US Olympic Development program and made the Texas State as well as the US National Team. Her career club continued to flourish at Solar being named sole captain of her squad for 5 years. She helped lead her team to carry the #1 national ranking predominantly for the last 5 years of her time at Solar. Her team was featured and aired live on ESPN on numerous occasions. Lola has been recognized as a top 100 player nationally, and also as the second highest rated central midfielder in the US. At the age of 16, Lola’s college recruiting began thus receiving over 40 scholarship offers from D1 Power 5 programs. After much consideration she decided to continue her academic and athletic career at the prestigious University of Texas (Austin). Lola graduated 6 months early from Frisco Memorial High School with 3.8 GPA and entered U of T at the age of 17 years old.
